A warm welcome awaits you at BTCCGL. Worshippers and visitors alike are all welcome to participate in our prayers, enjoy a quiet moment to reflect, or enjoy one of our colorful celebrations.  We want you to have an enjoyable experience. However, we would like to remind ALL visitors that like all places of worship and faith, we expect all to observe the following etiquettes and traditions customary to religions of Indian origin  and adapted by BTCCGL.

General Guidelines

  • All are welcome to visit, regardless of faith.
  • No alcohol, smoking, drug use, and firearms are allowed on any of the premises.
  • The entire premises is vegetarian only, and no meat is allowed to be brought in.

Visiting the Temple/Worship Area
Ceremony Guidelines

  • Please maintain silence during Pujas and other ceremonies.
  • DO NOT TOUCH Archa Vigrahas unless you are asked by a priest during a worship ceremony.
  • Children are most welcome, though please take them out if they become loud or distracting.
  • Chairs are provided for those unable to sit on the floor. Please do not move chairs away from the side walls..
  • Please wait to enjoy the Prasadam until you are outside the worship area.

Dress

  • Please remove shoes before entering the worship area.
  • Shoes must be placed inside the shoe room prior to entering the worship area.
  • Please avoid wearing shorts, short skirts, or revealing clothing in the worship area.
  • Please avoid wearing clothing made up of leather in the worship area

Cleanliness

  • Please help us maintain the cleanliness and purity of the Temple.
  • If you bring flowers or fruits, please take any plastic wrappings or trash with you when you leave.
  • We invite you to participate in the preparation for ceremonies. Please inquire if you would like to be involved in this way.

Donations

  • Donations are welcome to help support BTCCGL. Monetary donations can be placed in the Hundi, or the QR code can be scanned to make a digital donation.
  • Non-monetary donations may be accepted but please discuss with the priest before making any in–kind donations. Please do not leave any donations in temple premises without making prior arrangements. Please contact us at info@btccgl.org
