Background

  • In 2012, BTCCGL’s founding members were able to raise enough donations to put a down payment and obtain a mortgage for our building.
  • In 2014, the mortgage was refinanced with a loan balance of $375,000 and BTCCGL leadership were able to get a rate modification to 3.5% in 2020
  • The remaining loan balance will be $200,000 in Oct 2025.
  • In October 2025 the interest rate will adjust to commercial rates which could be 9% or more significantly affecting BTCCGL finances.
  • There are concerns BTCCGL will not be able to refinance the loan.

To secure BTCCGL’s future, BTCCGL leadership wants to pay off the mortgage by September 30th, 2025.   In addition to securing BTCCGL’s future, BTCCGL’s operating expenses will be significantly reduced.

Payments to complete a pledge can be made in many convenient ways including, cash, check, credit card, or ACH transfer. Cash and check avoids extra processing fees so more of your donation goes directly towards our cause! You can also set up a monthly payment plan to break up your pledge into easier to manage amounts, just contact us to set that up.
